Swale Lions give Santa a helping hand.

Members of Swale Lions Club had no hesitation when they received a request to play Santa and help provide a Christmas party for the residents of a homeless family sheltered housing scheme in Sittingbourne.

Plough Court provides secure accommodation for one and 2 parent homeless families with young children up to 4 years of age, who because they have little or no contact with their own families, would miss out on the celebrations and presents which most of us take for granted.

We were able to pay for a tea party for the residents, as well as providing a Christmas hamper for each family and presents for every child.
